About Me

I am Chris and I am a wedding, portrait and landscape photographer based in Devon.

 

I work predominantly in Devon and Cornwall, but am more than happy to travel further afield.

​

I first became interested in photography when I moved to Devon. The beautiful scenery and wildlife of Dartmoor motivated me to take images I could keep forever. This eventually inspired me to do more with my skills as a photographer and so I started to become involved in wedding and portrait photography. As a landscape photographer I love capturing the magical moments that happen in nature like beautiful sunsets, rainbows or the soft, rolling mist over the hills. These moments can be very few and far between whereas being a wedding photographer gives me the opportunity to snap those magical moments all day long.

I thoroughly enjoy being part of a couple's wedding day and pride myself on taking beautiful, natural photos. My style of photography is a mix of photo journalistic and traditional. I have a very relaxed approach to taking portraits of the couple and of family groups but what I am most passionate about is capturing the wonderful emotions of the day through natural expressions. Weddings are full of happy, emotional and fun moments and often the shots you take when people are off guard are the best.
